‘Back-To-Back’ is a series of photographs taken in and around the terraces of Leeds from 2006-2024.

The book is the result of going round the houses, quite literally, all over Leeds, in all manner of weather, taking snapshots in and around the red brick terrace houses that surround the city like a giant donut made from red bricks.

“I didn’t set out to make a book about Leeds. My main motivation was to get out on my bike and suck in some fresh air. Something I’ve done since I was a kid. It’s a freeing experience for the mind, body and soul. And pedalling sets a great pace to view the world. For me, bikes and photography go hand in hand and I always had a little camera at the ready. Fast forward, many years later and a selection of those past echos have found themselves in the form of a book.”
